Oklahoma Has a Law Called the Oklahoma Anti-discrimination
Video Transcribed: Can a man be harassed in his workplace by a woman? I’m Oklahoma Workers Rights Lawyer Colby Addison. And we are discussing that exact issue today. Whether a man or a woman can be harassed by the opposite sex is not considered in the law, when it comes to whether the law favors one’s gender over the other.
So if you are a man and you’ve been subject to sexual harassment, or you are a woman and you’ve been subject to sexual harassment by either gender, you certainly do have rights that are protected. The Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 protects employees from workplace harassment involving their sex.
Also, Oklahoma has a law called the Oklahoma Anti-Discrimination Act that protects employees as well. Again, it is indifferent to which gender you are and who the harassing gender is.
