You Have 180 Days from the Date of Termination to Take Action
Video Transcribed: How long do I have to file for a wrongful termination claim? I’m Oklahoma City employment law attorney Colby Addison and we’re talking about that today. After you’ve been terminated from an employer, you have a short time period to act.
The laws do vary, but generally speaking, you have 180 days from the date of termination to take action against your employer if you feel like you’ve been terminated for a wrongful reason. There are certain criteria that will extend that to up to 300 days and even some up to two years.
If you feel like your termination may fall into one of these categories and you want to take action, please give the Oklahoma Workers Rights attorney a call at oklahomaworkersrights.com.
